Calorie Calculator Tool provides a free online calculator that estimates basal metabolic rate (BMR), total daily energy expenditure (TDEE) and calorie targets from the values you enter, together with educational articles on nutrition — including guidance for people after bariatric surgery and people taking GLP-1 medications. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
This site provides general educational information only. It is not medical or dietetic advice, and using it does not create a provider–patient or dietitian–client relationship. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting a diet, changing your intake substantially, or acting on anything you read here. Calorie and nutrient needs differ during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in childhood and adolescence, with diabetes or kidney or liver disease, after bariatric surgery, and for anyone with a history of disordered eating. The calculator applies the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, a published and widely used formula. Its output is an estimate, not a measurement, and is typically accurate to within about 10% for the general population — less so at the extremes of body composition. Individual results vary. Nothing produced by this calculator supersedes advice from your own provider or dietitian, and it must not be used as the sole basis for a medical or nutritional decision.
